Buildings with lightweight roof trusses or lightweight floor trusses must be marked to the left of the main entrance with an 8-inch red reflective emblem indicating the building has a lightweight roof, and/or floor truss.

The emblem should be placed on a contrasting background. These emblems can be adhered directly to a smooth surface, and should have a contrasting backgound.

In the case where there is no smooth surface to apply the reflective graphic sticker, the sticker will need to be applied to a backer that can be mounted to the wall adjacent to the main entry door. (image to the left).

In the case where there is not a contrasting colored background, the emblem can be applied to a vinyl sticker that can then be placed on the wall adjacent to the main entry door. (image on the right)
